I probably won’t be around much for the next few days as we’ve have a concert on soon. I’m sorry to go on about it but maybe after a bit of a moan I’ll feel better. I’ve been trying to work out why I’m so stressed this time. We’ve had a backpacker here on and off the last few days. Vince met her on the plane coming back from Nepal and we gave her a lift into the city. She visited for a few days and is now working in the area. She and her boyfriend (now fiancée I guess as they’re planning to get married but probably won’t tell her parents – but that’s another story) are arriving this afternoon but will stay in their tent as we need the room. She’s vegetarian and they’ll be here for tea tonight. Tomorrow I’ll have to change the sheets in their room ready for the muso. But I’m sure she’ll help. We have to set up and check the sound system today - and it's raining. It should be fine tomorrow so we'll put the big stage lights up then. We have to shop and cook today as well. There will be a musician in each of our spare rooms and one in the caravan. Two more couples are bringing their own caravans and another couple will put up a tent. The people who bought the bus might come with the bus and sleep in it. We will be providing dinner for nine and breakfast on Monday for at least 11 – though probably not the backpackers. One musician we haven’t met but in case she’s vegetarian we’re making a frittata but otherwise just having cold meat and salads. One couple are staying till Wednesday. We have to take the sound system back on Monday as well as pack up everything else although we’ll have plenty of help with that –which isn’t always that helpful to be honest. At some point I’ll have the laundry to do. And it’s still raining. Thank you for listening. I feel a bit better now. The photo is of Herc hiding his head. It sort of depicts where I’d like to be.
