The Schizophrenic Woman is at my Door!

I am sitting here at my desk. As I was writing away, the schizophrenic woman from downstairs came up and walked directly in front of me (my desk faces the window by my front door). She did not look inside my house. But she placed something by my front door. She has done this to others before, but never to me. Will it be burnt playing cards, with words forecasting my death by fire? Will it be an "offering," with a note saying "Thanks for your patience"? I have no idea. She has been relatively calm and quiet the last couple of days. I heard her crying yesterday. I want to help her, but I have been advised by the police to just leave her alone. The saga continues. What would you guess she left me?

Lets hope it's something nice and not the severed head of a horse. Raising the nithing pole isn't common anymore, but you never know what people might do

A severed head of a horse would be rather unpleasant. What movie was that--Godfather?

@TheHorse I think so. I've read more about it than I've seen it in movies, it's in the Norse sagas. And apparantly some (crazy) Norwegian politician is using it as a protest. The same person has been accused of picking funny mushrooms.

Be very careful. Speak only words of hope and healing to her. Be suspicious and watch your back. I had a friend like that once. The cops stopped her when she was walking down the street with a big knife. She told them that I was the evil one and she was going to kill me. I had felt that something was wrong for several days before that incident. They did put her in a medical place for a while. It was a long time ago. I still get feelings that warn me when something is about to go wrong.

@TheHorse I just hope she is safe and not homicidal in her thinking. She let the 'evil one' take care of her kids when she was in the hospital. They were little.

@1hopefulman It was a kind note. And there were two flowers there. But she has officially been "evicted," according to the landlord. Time for prayer, if you're into that sort of thing. She needs our best wishes.

I hope so too. Yes, I could do an entire post on what she's left for my neighbors. It ranges from kind notes to burnt playing cards to the word "rapist" (since removed) written in some kind of kid foam on one neighbor's door. He is out of town.

If you stop posting anything over the next few days I will be very worried. Don't bother opening that package. Actually I am not serious. Seriously, if that person has a certain degree of schizophrenia but it is being managed properly I do not see her being a danger to you directly. Ask those others what she left at their door and go from there.

Some of it was kind of threatening. Other stuff was just ambiguous. She's into burnt or partially burnt playing cards. I don't know what that's supposed to indicate in her belief system.

@TheHorse , I would avoid that person and hopefully she gets the help she needs. So did you ever go check on that mystery object? okay it was 2 flowers and a note of kindness. I read this after posting my comment. Any how, if you are approached by her in the future, outside or someplace, keep a safe distance. About 10 feet.

It really does. I wonder if I could let my imagination run wild and write a story about it. She wrote "rapist" on my downstairs neighbor's door and then erased it. He spent one evening sitting and talking with her after her boyfriend left. I doubt they kissed, or anything like that. I could be the "rapist," writing from prison. Hmm.

@KlyliePot I showed one schizophrenic lady to play piano and she said it was helpful to her. But that was at work (a relatively safe environment), plus she was on her meds and stable.

@KlyliePot I have 30 year experience (50 if I count my sister) with several different forms of mental illness, and I find that what we say for the most part goes in one ear and out the other because they are self centered and life is about them and no one else. Don`t take this as being mean, this is just how I have seen life and dealing with the mentally ill.
