~Things May Have Changed~

Hey everyone, I hope you're doing well this evening. =) Things are amazing here-so grateful for all God does in our lives! Today, things were amazing! I love when God uses me in any way, it's always incredible. He is such a good Father. Something also happened today that may or may not change things for us a bit... Not sure really where it leaves us. But I do know God has the best plan for us always! The landlord at the other house said it's going to be a few weeks before the appliances and materials are delivered there...Well, we cannot live without a fridge and stove so...not sure what will happen but we do know God's got it and FEAR is a LIAR so I will not bow down to that! We already gave notice here (a week and a half ago) that we will be moving out--within a couple of weeks. Anyway, if you need prayers for anything--please let me know!!

@Tina30219 We probably could, not sure what their plans were or if they already are trying to find new tenants or what. We might have to find out about that. Thank you for the suggestion!

I'd just explain to your present landlord, exactly what has happened. He will be very understanding, to allow your family another two weeks as his renters.

@kobesbuddy Yes, hopefully that will be fine. We just don't know if they had other plans with the place or already have other tenants interested in moving here. Either way, God knows what He is doing! =)

@LovingMyBabies When we pray, it has been given over to the Lord. What a comfort, to trust him for the issues we face each day.

I'm sure that your current landlord will allow you to stay a bit longer until everything is in place. And I hope that the new place is ready soon.

Can you arrange to stay longer until at least the appliances are in? Hope it all works out for you.

@RasmaSandra Hopefully, we can ask. Not sure if they already have people supposed to move in or what. Thank you, God's got it!

You're moving out? Where will you be moving too? Didn't the family that helped you out (and ultimately got you to move to Georgia) provide you with those living arrangements? Sorry, I guess I'm prying a little too much. I was just so happy for you and your family that you finally found a home. I hope your move to a new place is a good thing. I know it is very inconvenient to live without a fridge and stove, but it is somewhat manageable. For cooking, you could always get a little charcoal grill or hibachi, or even cook over a fire in your yard! For the fridge, you can always store things in a cooler for a little while. I did that once when my fridge went out and the new one I purchased took a week to get delivered. I just kept everything in coolers, and every day after work I would just bring ice home from our ice machine at the office. It wasn't ideal, but it got me through.

@moffittjc Yes! They also found the new home for us! LOL. The home we are in right now is only a 2 bedroom and as you know we have a family of 7! This was meant as a just for right now place--just to get a roof over our heads and we are so grateful for it!! But, the new home is a 4 bedroom which will suit us SO much better! =) And the landlord there is our friends cousin, so everything is all good I promise! But thank you so much for being concerned. You're a great friend. We have gone without both before being homeless and in a motel at times too-BUT it's NOT an experience we want to repeat if not necessary--especially with 5 children!

@moffittjc The new place has no fridge or stove-not for a few weeks. Unfortunately. =(

@LovingMyBabies Jennifer, thanks for the explanation, and I'm so happy to hear you are moving into a bigger place. It will definitely help out with a family of 7! Is it the new place or the old place that is without the fridge and stove?

Can you ask the landlord if you could stay a couple more weeks. What about the family you stay with before.

@jstory07 Either way, God's got it. We just don't know the plans for this place or if they already have someone interested in renting it. =) We would prefer not to have to burden anyone else.

You have great faith so I'm sure it will all work out somehow. 9 years ago I was between houses and was stressed beyond belief. It all worked out and I drove myself crazy needlessly

Appliances do take time to arrive. Perhaps you can ask for a slight extension on where you are staying now. It will all work itself out in the end.

The other landlord has been so kind to you that unless he has already rented the place I am certain he will let you stay til that house is ready.

Hopefully you can stay where you are a bit longer. That is a long wait for appliances.

It sounds like you need to have a chat with your current landlord. Unless he already has another tenant lined up or has other plans he wants to get moving on he'll probably be able to accommodate you.

Yes because even if the appliances dont get there right away, God will provide Jennifer. Amen.

If nobody has to come immediately into your actual home, you should ask if you can stay a bit longer.

You've gone hrough a whole lot in your family's lives. And as you say, you've always witnessed God's care and faithfulness towards your family. Your courage and trust is very inspiring. Thank you!
