Time to end the day

Here in the US, at least in most of the states, we will be setting our clocks forward one hour tonight. I will not be working at the schools this week. I believe they are all on Spring Break. Next Friday Bob needs blood work, then I will go to my herbal cooking class. In the afternoon I will donate blood. Other than that it will be a pretty calm week, I think. Tonight we ate very light. We had a late lunch at one of Bob's favorite Mexican restaurants. I still ate a bed time snack. Just some goat cheese spread on whole grain crackers. I plan on having a good day tomorrow and I will see you then. Sleep well if it is evening, or have a great day if it is morning for you.

I love goat cheese, enjoy. Herbal cooking class? That's new to me, what exactly do they cover? Sweet dreams, hope you get a good nights rest.

Karyn covers everything from healthy food, to yummy food, and also first aid uses for herbs. One thing is that we are encouraged to use more herbs in our cooking. She has trained both with well known herbalists like Rosemary Gladstar and Susun Weed and also with Julia Child. She got into herbalism in self defense raising four children as a single mom with no child support or insurance.

@rebelann That is right. Cats are especially sensitive and lack the liver enzymes to process essential oils, too. In spite of many people telling us for years to give them garlic for fleas, etc.

I wish they'd teach it here @GardenGerty I buy mostly organic foods and there are some herbs that I can't use because I share food with my pets and many herbs and veggies are toxic to them but when I know I need to eat something for my own health like onions I make it a point not to give any to my pets.

Yes, it is day light savings for your country and you need to reset your clock. We don't have such practice. Donating blood is a noble cause and it is good for health too.

I think leaving the clocks alone would also be good for health.

@GardenGerty That stinks. I hate it when I lay down and do that.

Hope you have a good night and thanks for the clock reminder. How I hate running around resetting clocks but what must be done must be done. Hope you have a sunny Sunday.

I hope it is nice enough to be outside some today. I did not sleep well last night. Too much caffeine and sugar too late in the day.

Hey, no medical needs so it is good. April would be nicer, but our school year ends before Memorial day so that would be pointless.

@GardenGerty that is good, and yes. that would be a pointless break that close to it ending.
