I confess to a lunch of donuts.

Yesterday, when I went to the supermarket with Leticia, I bought 6 donuts from the Dunkin Donuts.
Those donuts have two problems. The first is that the Bavarian cream filled donuts are more than delicious. And the second, and worse, is that they have that irritating way of selling them which has become more common everywhere.
The thing is 'you pay for 5 and we give you 6'. I even thought for a moment about buying a dozen to save even more money. But you are not saving at all. You buy a lot more and you eat more than your share. Today, my lunch was mainly donuts. Now I don´t even want to hear about their name. But I already did it.
There are many things that are bought like that now. And they all make you buy what you don´t need. Sometimes it even means that you have to either give away or throw away something that you have bought.
Don´t fall for that, friends. Buy your small donut, be very happy eating it and save the rest of the money for another day.

I'm puzzled. I thought a doughnut has a hole in the middle?!
And what is Bavarian cream? Bavaria is only two hours away from where I live but I've never heard the term.
In Germany, what you've shown here is called 'a Berliner' and is typically filled with red jam.
An atypical Berliner would be covered with sugar icing and be filled with vanilla cream. Both kinds of Berliners are good.

@marguicha So 'Dunkin' means that they have a hole? I'm not a doughnut expert.

It is a sort of vanilla cream. But it has a taste of something else that I haven´t figured out yet.

@marguicha The Berliner sold here have vanilla custard inside, it's very good. The same cream that they use to fill the cream puffs and the puff pastry cones.

It is one of my favorite cake. But, I never eat it for lunch. It is usually for brakfast. I eat it with milk or sweet tea...Hmmm...yummy...

When it comes to addictions, I eat them when I have them around. I don´t buy them often for that reason.

The kind of deal is okay when it comes with something that doesn't go bad as fast or something easier to eat. Donuts just sound nauseating when there are so many. Although, I think my mom would like that deal haha she likes her donuts and she would make them last a few days while I wouldn't touch them because I don't like donuts.

Wow, that's a lot of sugar! I avoid buying Dunkin Donuts because of too much sugar although I also love the Bavarian cream-filled one.

I don't buy their crap, tell them I need one not a dozen. Anyway Bavarian is my most favorite. Just love licking the filling.
