For all College people grads or still going do you like College and why?

When I went to the University I got into a special program which cannot remember the name and built my classes around my internship. I liked College very much. I hope others had a good experience in college? I know College alone does not help one get a job but most places do want College grads. I know experience helps too.

I attended a local college not with the intent of getting a degree. Instead I took courses to train for a job. Wish now that I had stayed the course and got the degree.

I enjoyed College more than my high school. I had more friends when i was in College. Having a bachelor's degree in college helped me to easily get a job in a bank.

I enjoyed my college years and was a good student. I'm done for good now. I did get a Masters, 6th year degree, and 30 credits beyond. Most of my son's law firms wouldn't hire lawyers unless they graduated from Ivy League or the top 5 law schools in the country.

College does not guarantee that we can get a job, it must also be filled with knowledge. Most companies pay attention to university degrees, medical history and experience.

@May2k8 You are right that going to College does not necessarily get you the job you are going after. Most companies ask if you went to College and I believe that helps.

I have said at times that college was the best 4 years of my life. You learn to make decisions for yourself. You mature socially meeting people from different backgrounds, you make friends, learn from many areas of study and form your own opinions and philosophies. For me, it was a very rewarding experience...
