Have you ever slow cooked corned beef and cabbage?

Since I am still renting a room while I wait on my apartment to come available, (btw: which has been a very long wait)...I have limited space.
I own a standard pressure cooker, which I usually cook this meal. But it is in storage, and to be quite frank...I don't feel like digging it out.
I decided to try to cook this meal with a slow cooker. Was a little worried that the cabbage might come out too soggy, but decided to try it anyway.
I cut my cabbage in quarters, added small red potatoes, baby carrots, quartered size onions, my stock, water, corned beef, a dash of roasted garlic, salt, and pepper.
I put the cooker on low, and went to bed. I was excited to see how it was going to turn out.
The next morning... The cabbage was cooked perfectly. The potatoes, onions, and carrots were cooked perfectly. It seemed by all appearances, the meal was a success.
Then I tasted it... What a major let down. It was pretty much bland. Hardly no flavor at all...even though I seasoned it pretty heavily with salt, and pepper.
It was weird to me. This meal has always turned out tasty. I knew the pressure cooker fuses the favors of each ingredient well. However... With that being said...usually a slow cooker does the same thing (without the quickness of speed)... I assumed that I would get the same results, when it came to the flavors of the dish.
So my questions are:
Has anyone every cooked corned beef and cabbage in a slow cooker?
How did it turn out, when it came to seasonings?
Any suggestions on what I could have done differently?

I added the same things. However... Mine did not turn out as good when I used the slow cooker, then when I used the pressure cooker. I guess I will need to ask one of the chefs on Food Network to see if they can help me. Thanks for responding.

I have never done corned beef in a slow cooker and not sure why it would taste bland. BTW, you should NEVER have to add any salt to corned beef. It is LOADED with salt already. I always boil mine and it turns out delicious. I cannot imagine cooking it any other way.

I agree, but for some reason this time not even salt helped. I am really baffled.

@teresatrotter Yeah. That is odd. Not sure what happened. Corned beef is a meat you typically have to do nothing with and it still tastes good.

Never have. It is quick to fix so I don't think a person really needs to use a slow cooker.

Unless you want it for a meal for the next day. A slow cooker comes in real handy then. I do that a lot. It makes for nice leftovers too.

Agreed. But the flavors were not there this time.
