Waiting for the new car

Our current car was bought in year 2007, it's already 12 years old. We decided to get a new car as the current car has been giving us some problems in recent few years.
We have been booking for the new car since last September. We thought we would be able to get the new car very soon, but due to some issues, it's been delayed until now. Finally, we were told our new car is coming to us today's afternoon.
My kids and I have been really excited about the new car. Most importantly, the car boot size is much larger than our current car's, so we might not have much hassle to bring our luggage and other stuff when we go back to our hometown.
Hope our new car will arrive very soon without any other issues.

Yay! That is very exciting.
Our car is 4 years old.
We also have an older car too, that is 20 years old. It was bought brand new (my parents bought for my sister). My sister doesn't need it anymore since she bought a new car so she gave me it. We use it to run errands nearby especially buying soil or lumber (home improvement stores).

That's so long time for them to deliver the car to you. I hope they can pay you some money for it since it is pretty long time. I hope you will get your new car soon without problems. I can imagine this new car will make your family quite happy.
