Piggy backing is one good way to earn money here on mylot but you should be careful how you do it. Because using what others say to earn doesn’t always boat well with the person your using there words to earn. So piggy backing can be good but always bad. I do see it often when one person feels that what they think is feel is the right way or how someone else words something they don’t think it’s right or smart. What are thoughts and feelings on others using others here on mylot to earn a little bit of money? Interaction is the key to success on here.

Copying is never good. And you don´t always reach your goals.

Very true! Goals are nice to be had and can be reached with time if you give the right amount of time to it. Yes copying of using someone else words to gain a little bit of something never really gets you what you want.

I think it is dishonest and that you should think of your own posts and material. If a post makes you remember something that happened to you, that is one thing. Copying others is not good.

I agree. Some times what one person says remind me of it and I share it in that post not a new one unless there something more that needs to be said in your own post so you take over that person discussion. No stealing thunder kind of person. Experiences can be shared nicely between others. I do see a lot of piggy backing between some people.

It’s very easy. You can use part of what someone says and then use it to create your own post. Like someone says something and it reminds you something. But instead of saying someone else said this in there post and it remind me you quot it with no credit.

@ShyBear88 It happens, maybe others forget to give credit to the one who had the original idea of a topic; as long as it is not copied as is, maybe it's excusable.

Yes, interaction is the key to make some piggy banking here but we need each other to accomplish that.

Well I come here, express my thoughts and try to enjoy. Some people here do inspire me but copying words or even imitating simply does not comes to me. And I believe we all are unique and it is best to demonstrate our unique qualities here.

I generally try not to do that, but sometimes inspiration does strike when I read other posts, or I have a correlating story to go along with the topic. Most times, I'll try to say it in comments on their post, but sometimes it's too long and needs to be its own post. In those situations, if I piggyback like that, I will make sure to mention the name of the member that gave me the inspiration, so they get full credit for coming up with the idea originally.

Yeah I do the same thing. If a post remind me of something I mention it to that person during there post instead of making my own. Unless it’s totally different and not the same thing.

I am not really sure what you mean here... Do you mean using something someone else has said in your discussion or copying word for word what someone else has already written? If it's copying word for word that is wrong! However, if you want to include something someone has said in your discussion I don't think that's wrong as long as you mention who that person is.

No copying although using what someone else says in using there words to creature your own discussion. Lots of people use what someone else has said without mention they got it someone else said something and it remind me of thisZ

@Gillygirl I don’t see that as coward what is they comment but they are think the other person is going to fight back. Some people take a comment to a heart if someone sneak behind there back. It’s a double sword when not all details are give. So if you know what’s going on it’s not being coward you’re assuming it’s being cowardly. I rather block someone that I’m going to have an issue with repeatedly then have to intract with them unless absolutely have to. There is always more to a story so if someone comments and then blocks them I don’t see it as being coward I see it as taking a high road. As a mom I tell my kids it’s okay to say what you want and then walk away if they means keeping away from someone then do so it’s not worth getting yourself into trouble when it’s not need.

@Gillygirl that’s okay if it’s a pet peeve I have oen in people correcting others people’s word uses. It drives me up the wall when someone corrects another person spelling. I rather avoided a meme we then have further issue with them not Waht the issue might be. I won’t have to worry about seeing them tomorrow. I have issues with my husband sister but we are all cool being in the same room. We do that for the little kids. Other wise if she wasn’t family I just wouldn’t see her.

If you are referring to outright copying someone else's work here, then that is definitely a bad thing. If what you are posting is simply a continuation of someone else's thought or idea, that's entirely different. You could write about a cookie and if it makes me think of a cookie and I was post about it after reading your post, that's something I don't see any issue with.
