A Life Changing Moment

I remember when I was a teen and my girl friend's boyfriend had a Mustang. We were riding with him along what is called Hill Road. He went around a curve way too fast and the car spun. The car spun completely around, a can of beer in the seat next to me went flying and opened have across the car. After a few seconds the car had made a complete spin and we were headed on down the road. Just a few moments had passed but could have been so different if there was another car on the road.

I had gotten a ride partway home from college, and when the driver pulled over to let me off at a transfer point a drunk driver smacked into the back of the car, then bounced on down the road, hitting other cars and causing a bottleneck. Since I was already halfway out of the car, I could see a transport coming up behind us... Luckily, the transport managed to stop without hitting us.

I had a similar thing happen. When I was riding on my way to school I spun out on a snowy icy road when the car in front of me suddenly slammed his brakes. To avoid hitting him I had to brake and spun over the island separating the highway winding up on the other side facing the traffic going the opposite way. Very scary. Good thing it was a morning class and traffic was light..
