Just one dollar to go here.

This month will be the month to earn the money for my next vacations.
I am doing well at mylot and I am on my way to earn at least $120 this year. Then I have over $800 in dollar prices from buying with my credit card (that I pay each month). That will go towards the ticket to Aruba.
I only have to get some money to pay for the lodgings but I know where I will get it from.
Are you planning your vacations?

Good for you. I never plan vacations. I have to save every penny and now that I live in Florida in the good weather I can go to the beach as often as I like.

@RasmaSandra I have been to Florida several times when my husband was alive. I loved it.

@marguicha except when it gets to tropical kind of heat but then the Atlantic Ocean is within reach for cooling off. Other than that I am happy to be here for now.

We are not planning vacations. I would like to spend some days in Monte Carlo, I am nostalgic about our small apartment there. No need to plan in advance, it only takes 4 hours drive to go there and we have friends who will be happy to host us.

@LadyDuck I see. Everything seems more expensive when we retire.

@marguicha No, we were renting and when we retired it was too expensive to keep it. I will just pass in front of the building and look at it from the street.

Good job. We saved up and put aside a few weeks ago $500 and put down $720 for a duplex for 4 days in Ohio for a family reunion. So now I’m saying up to add more to that.

It is good to have a little extra. I usually buy things for myself when I´m on vacations. I have more time.

@ShyBear88 True. The car fare is equivalent to the air fare. I put more money on my Visa just in case. Usually food is about the same as I go to an apartment with kitchen.

@marguicha we buy things to or bring things home but we are also buying food on vacation, gas for the car and some emergency money if need.

@marguicha Just here in our country, out of town by plane. Palawan is the name of the place. Hope you get to experience it. One of the best tourist spots that the Philippines offers.

@marguicha I absolutely agree with you, but if someone does not have money for food, then it will be difficult to pay for a trip.
