Summer is the time for scented flowers to show up. There are several of these flowers mostly white in colour
We have the queen of the night that gives out its perfume in the night and so also a flower named Parijat. Parijat is a tree and the flowers have a red stem. You see them all strewn on the floor if you visit them early in the morning.
Jasmines come in various sizes and all having almost the same scent.
The flowers in the photo are the ones that are blooming in our garden. I do not know its name but they too have a strong scent.
What scented flowers do you have in your garden or you know of. ,

@allknowing Sure, I am posting a photo I took last summer, it is not yet blooming now. Honeysuckle is a vine, I bought it that was only a tiny plant and now it covers all the East fence of our garden.

@allknowing I haven't got one handy but you can see it here
It's a woody evergreen shrub with big spiky leaves, originally from the north-western US. It has bright scented bell-shaped flowers in early spring and then later it has small blue-black berries which can be cooked and eaten. Also called 'Oregon grape'.

There is more joy in producing them that requires a lot of time spent in the garden

Four o'clocks do have a nice smell. That smell takes me back to my childhood days.

I don't have much flowers in my garden and not any scented ones. I just have few roses, hibiscus, canna, chrysanthemum and marigolds. But we have enough jasmine and aprajita in our campus and I like their smell during my morning walk.
