Brexit is making the United Kingdom look ridiculous!!!!

Another crazy day in the U.K parliament as they failed to agree on a way forward with Brexit. We are at total deadlock still. The day started with Prime Minister May saying she would go, if the MP's vote through her agreed deal with the European Union to leave. She would allow a new PM to negotiate the next stage of the leaving. But we are no where near that after late yesterday. For Tory MPs its clear they were using this vote to get rid of their leader. Its pathetic. Yesterday the 650 MPs took over parliament for the day and were allowed to come up with separate ideas for Brexit, of which 8 were put on one piece of paper and MPs were allowed to tick which ones they liked. They ticked away. When the results were read out and voted on they could not agree on any of them and all were voted down and failed to reach a majority. Pathetic. Top of the list with the most votes was a second referendum vote and second place was for a simple new customs deal and little else. On Monday they will eliminate some of the 8 and try and agree on two of three options. In this way Referendum 2 will get over the line but the PM only taking the vote as advisory. If she was was to ask the House to vote on that Ref2 they would then go back to where they were in fear of supporting something that would help them lose their seats as most constituencies voted Leave. Its a mess and our MPs are weak and selfish and they will not make the required sacrifices for the good of the country. if this was 1943 Hitler would steamroller us and Europe. The evening was complicated further when the DUP, the small Northern Irish political party that hold power in the United Kingdom in the coalition government, said they wont back Mays original deal because its the same deal as last time they voted no to it. the speaker of the House has said the MPs cant vote on that deal for the third time unless its changed. It isn't. No deal brutal leave or No Brexit are now odds on to win out.

I am following this drama, I cannot believe that this is happening in the UK. I have the habit to this kind of behavior from Italian politicians, but not yours.

@thedevilinme I am not at all surprised and I know that the population of several countries would happily leave the EU, for the UK is easier, at least you did not adopt the Euro currency.

@Gillygirl Italian were not called to vote, they knew what they would have voted, so the Government decided.

Not often I agree with the DUP but May is just repeating the same rejected offer over and over. My mum used to find a lightbulb wouldn't work and stand flicking the switch over and over as if the results would change - May is doing the same - we either go to a Referendum or we won't have to leave - Europe will throw us out

Honestly I do not understand much of it, but that said, when the margin of votes was not sufficiently large during referendum, such issues can only be expected.

As much as I have been following this dilemma, I'm not sure I totally understand it. Not being in the UK makes it a little more confusing.

It's supposed to be long overdue, the last time I've read a news about it they said only 1more week and a positive agreement would be an outcome.
