I can smell the delicious fritters that Leticia is making. We will have them with leftover rice and there´s a real tomato soup with tomatoes cooked on chicken broth.
I am mylotting while I wait for lunch. I spent most of my morning throwing away old papers. They needed to be read and checked what the date was. A real pain. So I deserve to be seated here having fun for a while.
Cauliflowers are veggies that are lately replacing potatoes which have more carbs. It is not the case with fritters, of course. But mashed cauliflowers can be made instead of mashed potatoes.
Do you use cauliflowers? Do you like them?

I really don´t mind that much whether something is healthy or not. I´m a little overweighed, but not that much. cauliflowers with white sauce are divine.

@JudyEv You can eat smaller portions if you feel guilty. I cut down on the sizes of pasta dishes a couple of years ago.

@marguicha It doesn't worry me either. I just know that sauces and salad dressings have a lot of calories.

I like cauliflower florets dipped in batter then deep fried with a Japanese soy and ginger dip, gives me the satisfaction I get from tempura , I sometimes prefer it over eating meat. Perhaps I would try making fritters.

I will tell Leticia to add soy sauce to her batter.

@marguicha not to much or else it would blacken fast, using it as dipping sauce would probably be better.

I love them raw but marinated in vinegar for a while and served with homemade garlic mayo.

@Hate2Iron I have tried a lot of fried and baked veggies lately. Eggplants are delicious too.

That sounds very interesting. I love cauliflower although I hate Broccoli. My grandson eats Broccoli like there is no tomorrow it makes me gag just watching him. You have given me an good idea I might look for a recipe to make them too! Thank you!

I would love to try cauliflower fritters, I adore cauliflower. I do like it raw better than cooked but having it mashed is amazing.

I live some food that changes depending on how you cook it. I love raw cauliflower, but a cauliflower pudding is out of this world.
