Florida Friday

Hi friends! I’m very late getting on today due to playing 18 holes of golf and very badly as usual. Brunch on the terrace is the real reason I play. 
We had two wonderful people in our building pass away within weeks of each other. The latest was a former board member who interviewed us when we applied for residency here. She was a lovely woman and will be missed. We have two memorial services coming up for them.
On a more positive note it IS Friday here, my favorite day, and for date night, my husband and I will have dinner on the water. It’s a sultry day and perfect for outdoor eating.
Any Friday night plans for you?

I assume it's Saturday for you now. Glad you had a nice coffee outing with your friend. I'm all ready to leave for dinner, but waiting for my husband to finish dressing. He drives me crazy sometimes!

Happy Saturday to you! I haven't even gone to sleep yet, and it's still good old Friday here.
My son did that with his phone. I can not tell a lie. Originally, it was a photo of Doodles sleeping in the sun. Isn't technology grand if you (I) could use it? lol

@DianneN I visited the dentist a couple of days ago. I am on antibiotics and a pain filler Yes. It is disturbing my peace.

Today I´m going to a concert where Camila (Dixie´s youngest daughter) plays. She is a gifted musician who has played in several countries.

@DianneN She plays several instruments depending on the concert. But she also plays piano to serve as companion to opera singers.

We are entertaining our niece. I took her out to lunch with my sister. We had a nice trip down to Dover. 2 hours for lunch then back home again after a quick ride along the seafront and to see the castle! We also visited my parish church! I will write a post about it tomorrow it is too late now!

It sounds like a wonderful day and a day eating outside in sultry weather is a good thing. I'm sorry you lost a couple of people in your building in the past week.
I love the picture of Doodles. Who made that?
I watched two movies with my friend down the hall, while I took a necessary break from editing.

@DianneN Yes, it is amazing what you can do with a phone nowadays.
I need some down time during the day. Yesterday, I talked to the gal in the office and took out the garbage as breaks from the book. I was going to watch some television after taking care of my games for the night but did one last chapter instead. I edited 7 chapters yesterday. I most likely won't get that much done today as I'm doing laundry today. My son will be picking me up at some point. He hasn't called yet to let me know when.

Hey Dianne I am so happy to read a post by you. I am also happy to know that eveything is under control in your life! Happy Fridianne! As for me it was all day indoors doing household chores. I really needed to take care of my house being that my parents are at my sister's spending some time there.
