A nurse in Massachusetts adopts a baby that no one came to visit in 5 months

Liz Smith who is the Director of Nursing at Brighton's Franciscan Children's Hospital in Brighton Massachusetts was able to find her dream of being a mother at her work when a baby girl who was spending time at NICU after her birth since her mother could not afford to take care of her due to her drug addiction.
Liz credits some of the nurses at the children's hospital for suggesting to her that since no one came to see the young baby at the NICU for five months, to think of adopting her as her own child.
Liz took the advice of her colleagues and she adopted Giselle last October. Giselle is now a healthy two year old girl who is the love of the life of her mother Liz.
Dreams do come true in life. It is just finding the right time and place to have them come true.
