No sign of the water fowl

We had a few water fowls visiting us in summer to enjoy our bird bath. Water fowls are seen when no other birds are around. Something that is typical of a water fowl. They are loners. I am missing this bird as it was fun watching it frolicking in our birdbath.
It is interesting to watch this bird have a bath. It goes into the deep and bathes non stop

Same as @wolfgirl569, we have a couple of Mallard ducks that visit our pond. They are not scared of me, I was able to take a photo of them. (I tried to add the Image, it seems not to work today).

Water fowls prefer to be on their own. They do not bother about who is around

@allknowing Mallard ducks are most of the time in couples. They are not scared by people.

The ones here are usually startled by me getting through the weeds. I am getting the fence for the goats soon. Then the weeds will be gone.

@allknowing It's very odd to see ducks swimming in salt water. Yours will arrive soon, I'm sure.

I rarely see them alone. I see flocks of ducks and geese and coots swimming or walking together. It's the larger birds like egrets I see alone.

This is not the same as ducks and geese . I saw a huge group of egrets in a fish market

I have a couple of wild mallard ducks that visit the pond here. They always fly off when they hear or see me.

There are ducks and geese here when the water is backed up from winter rain.

I did not know that waterfowls are birds that are basically loners.
