I'll have a go with this warmup with homophones for today. Nothing much to say, but a lot is going on in the existence of Dufus and Dolty in their funny world.
***
Oh, darling Dolty blabs in a bubble
Foot in her mouth, stuck in a puddle
Lil' noggin of brain measures a foot
Sits at a foot of a mote.
Poor Dolty crying loud. Would'ya giv'er a cuddle?

@everwonderwhy it sounds like it. I've only been back on my lot for a little over a week so I will have to read some of your other post so I will know more about Dolty.

This is cute have you done some of these before? You could put some thought and sell them as as book for tots or something.

Thank you very much, Marsha! I enjoyed that one, too.
I think many of our English poets, mostly peasants, in the medieval era would have created 'Dufus and Dolty' characters to express 'things and riddles' that might have caused their heads off. Such as, Humpty Dumpty?
