First Week Back to Normal Completed

It was our first full week of normalcy since we returned from Florida. We went to pool exercise 3 times and once at the senior center. It was good to see our friends and they were glad to see us back. We went out to dinner with friends twice, picked up grandkids twice and did major driving around. We went to an appointment with Al's neurologist and it was a good visit, only a small adjustment to his medication. I am going to see the Book of Mormon with my friend tomorrow. I have wanted to see this for a long time so I am looking forward to it. Next week looks to be busy as well. I have tickets to Goodspeed Wednesday, dentist appointments on Monday, Tuesday the kids go to the groomer. I just realized it will be Holy Week, usually, I would be more in a religious frame of mind. Easter Sunday we will go to church and then to our son Jason's house. We decided as a family that we are not traditional, we are having Chinese and pizza. lol No ham dinner for us. My laundry is all done, the sink is empty of dishes but loads of cleaning needs to be done. So life is back to normal, how about you? What do you have planned?

Glad things are back to normal for you. =) We are planning to see the movie Breakthrough on Easter after church-if we can find a theater open on that day. Not our usual tradition but we all want to see that movie!

Glad things are back to normal for you. Things have been pretty normal here, too. The Book of Mormon was enjoyable. We saw it several years ago.

@BelleStarr You will like it. It wasn't the greatest show I've ever seen, but it had some good laughs.

I'm doing laundry and cooking a chicken meal for later. I might even do some yardwork today if the winds don't kick up.

I remember when we used to spend some weeks here and some weeks in the south of France, it always took a few days before going back to the normal routine. I have nothing planned, we are enjoying being lazy and deciding in the morning what to do.

I think you are the busiest person I know. You need some quiet time to rest and relax.

I am busy and it does seem sometimes that I am running around like crazy but I like to be able to help my daughter, she has a very stressful full-time job and 5 kids so when I can do some running around for her I do. I do try to find a quiet moment when I can. lol

You are so busy! We are not traditional when it comes to most things either, and we do not even know what we are doing next Sunday. Our son hasn't confirmed with us yet, plans are in the air, but I've done my Easter candy shopping so that part is done.

I don't do Easter candy shopping either, I did when the kids were little but the grandkids are mostly grown. I do always have a candy bowl at home and the grandsons raid it whenever they are around.

We have ham as our easter tradition, not a tradition. But we couldnt get one this year so my mom and brother settled for pork chops with applesauce while i had a plate of mac n cheese. Were pretty normal here, besides still being in pain which actually, is our new normal for now.

@BelleStarr my mom makes hers on the stove, in butter. don't think she's ever had them in the oven. I thought pork chops and applesauce was just her thing, lol. good to know.
