Cleaners at home.

I have to travel on Wednesday morning. And I am done with packing.
Two of my carpets needed a deep cleaning as they were last cleaned by a professional in June 2018.
So they are here and have started with their work.
As they work, I will sit monitoring them and using this time for mylotting. I have a pile of notifications to be cleared. It has been more than a week since I attended them as I was on my vacation to Phuket. I hope none have been deleted.
I will go for cleaning of rest two carpets and all mattresses in the house once I am back from my vacation in May.
How often do you get a professional cleaner for your carpets and mattresses??

I do regular vaccum cleaning. But once a year, I go for shampoo cleaning.

@arunima25 I don't know but Yesterday I want to sleep at 11 AM and sleep for more than 2 hours. When I wake up I was feeling pain in my legs.

we never had carpets so never needed to
what i can suggest is you go to your settings and activate the email notification if you're going to be away for a week or more so you can catch all of them

@almostoveryou they last for a week then are auto-deleted.
if you don't want to lose them because you're seldom here, then go to your settings to activate the email notifications.

Yes getting them cleaned once or twice a year is good especially if we have kids and pets.

That is good. These carpets are 5 ft by 7 ft and 5 ft by 4 ft. They need this cleaning. Smaller rugs and mats in the house go for regular washing in machine.

Yes other things are manageable with personal attention. A heavy carpet needs those professional cleaning.

Just finished flipping and vacuuming the mattress... I wish they weren't so heavy!! lol As for carpets... we got rid of all of them when we moved into this house. We have wood everywhere now! A whole lot easier!

Yes floors are easier to clean and mop. We have carpet in only a small portion of the house. Most of it is tile flooring.

I just do it when I have time; sometimes I also hire a cleaner to do it. We do not use carpets due to some health issues.

Yes they are not good if you have some allergies. Carpets and soft toys tend to collect a lot of dust. They really need a lot of care for cleaning and maintenance.

My carpet is a bit heavy. Being in tropical country, we have too much of dust and regular vacuum cleaning does not work. So I need to get it deep cleaned twice by professional. They do it at affordable price and their service is really good.

We don't hire cleaners for those because we don't use carpets at home. I do have a weekend housekeeper who does general cleaning every now and then.

I clean it with vaccum twice a week but still getting it shampoo cleaned once is a good way.
