After staying in boarding and hostel before marriage I hardly had the opportunity of learning to cook. So all my cooking was learnt from recipe books. Back then I had a good collection of books as there was no internet and google to help me. Now I regularly look upto google for trying out new recipes. My favourite site for Indian cuisine is Tarla Dalal as the food always comes good when I follow her recipes. And when you log into her website you have the option of selecting the number of servings you want and accordingly you get the proportion of ingredients.
Whats your favourite cuisine?

@Nickzter1331 Not all youtube recipes are good. Many just copy from other site and make changes and post. And some recipes are just yuckkk to taste.

I have no favorite cuisine, but I am interested in learning more about Indian dishes. I go to an herbal cooking class about nine times per year. I will write her name down.

I like many. I loved eating Mexican cuisine the week I was in Mexico. But it is too hot to eat it every day. I like Peruvian cuisine and I like Indian cuisine but it is too expensive in my country.

Here few restaurants serve different cuisines of various countries but I do not visit restaurants much except when I am on a holiday. Then I try experimenting with different food in different restaurants then. Have you tried cooking Indian food?

@marguicha Check out the website tarladalal.com. Just put in the ingredient that you want to make and they will give you receipes for that. You can even change the number of servings you want to make and it proportionately gives you the quantity required. Dont know what ingredients are available your end so dont know what to recommend.

Yes certain recipe books do help. I like Bhindi(Okra) with curd in summers and Fenugreek(Methi) in winters.
Apart from that, I do not have any favorite as such.
