Happy Easter!

I was awakened last midnight by the sound of fireworks, maybe from a nearby church. So it signaled the end of the week-long commemoration of the Passion and Death of Jesus Christ. It is Easter Sunday today!
The fireworks was a sign of ending the "mourning." And now we rejoice for the Risen Christ.
Catholics troop to the churches to hear the Easter Mass, and it also signals the merrymaking and reunions among families, just like Christmas. We celebrate life.
Happy Easter, everyone!

@acelawrites I saw an early procession here. I am at work and I heard drumbeats.

I also did not know who initiated it, but it only happened during yesterday's Easter. It is not a tradition here.

@acelawrites For a moment I thought "Easter was last Sunday". Today is Orthodox Easter, Happy Easter to you.

It is uncommon to have fireworks; I didn't know who initiated it this time.
