What are your plans for Easter Sunday?

I have deviled eggs in the refrigerator and a beef roast cooking on the stove for our dinner after church tomorrow.
When we get home, it won't take long to make the mashed potatoes and gravy, a veggie, and maybe some gluten free biscuits.
Tomorrow is my turn to teach the adult Sunday School class and I plan to sing a special in church (I Will Rise.)
Our son and grandson have gone to our daughter's in Charleston for the weekend, so it'll just be the two of us. The Easter bunny will not be bringing candy of any kind! Although I did make a gluten free yellow cake with chocolate fudge frosting yesterday. 
Tonight after it gets dark, we'll go out to the shack in the back yard and watch the fireworks a couple of miles away.
Alas, the Herring Festival got rained out and stormed out and tornado watched yesterday, but I guess they had the parade today since it was beautiful, but windy.

Well, not exactly boiling I don't think. I browned it in a little oil, then added just a small amount of water, some salt and pepper and bay leaves, then simmered it for a few hours until tender. I usually cook it that way instead of baking it.

@1creekgirl I asked because I have a sister-in-law who told me that she loves to boil her roast beef on the stove top. I couldn't imagine it tasting all that great, but she is a good cook, so I wondered.

@Juliaacv I think the secret is to just simmer it in a small amount of water with salt, pepper, and bay leaves. Makes great gravy too.

Happy Easter to you! We were going to have a get together with the family at my parents' house, but it got postponed as we got in a car accident yesterday 
. So change of plans we will have a simple Easter at home and relax. Beef roast and deviled eggs sounds great . . . I just may do that with our eggs!

@1creekgirl The kids are completely fine - and I got some minor things but am ok now. Hubby got 1 broken rib which will be painful for a while. We are just thankful it was not worse.
