In the Philippines' history, the country is being colonized by Spaniards, Japanese, and Americans. They had ruled the country for a certain period of years. Thus, most locals are not pure blooded Filipinos. Some of them got married and have children with the locals. I. myself is not a pure blooded one. If I am a dog, then I considered myself a mixed breed. I have a blood of Filipino, Spanish and Chinese.
I had learned so many things about Family Tree. My last name is based on Spanish.
"Are you pure-blooded in your own country?"
"Are you a mixed breed like me?

I bet majority of world is some kind of mixed breed. Some more than others, but why the whole purity thing is a joke. Even if they could keep bloodlines pure, eventually people are going to move and settle somewhere else. Then evolution adapts people to their environment. So if once white, live somewhere in the desert long enough, skin will turn darker and if black move to cold, live their long enough skin will turn lighter.

@Shavkat Sheltered why tribal people on that one island throw spears India I think it is. They know will disrupt their life, bring them in to modern world and sure most are happy but if one does it now whole tribe is lost. I get why they throw spears but how about just saying that instead of throwing spears. Where society gets lost with in itself.

You have a point. No offense to China. In this country, the traditional locals are not letting their children marry other nationalities. They wanted to continue what is really their bloodline. There is no issue if being a mixed breed. Unfortunately, some Chinese people still stick to their own beliefs and practices.

Depends on how long back I check. I assume there'll be something else than Norwegians back there. On my paternal grandfathers side there's a Swede some hundred years ago and possibly a German even further back. On my paternal grandmothers side there's Norwegian for at least 5 generations. I don't know that much about my mothers side, and they were from the coast and had more contact with other countries I suppose.
