Back from the doctor.

The doctor said it was not a shoulder cuff. But it could be a bursitis which is not serious. Still many of Claudia´s problems may have to do with her back bone in the neck. He sent her to another doctor. I´ll go with her at the end of the month.
I tire easily when I go out. And it was worse because Claudia was terrified and I had to hold her while, at the same time, tell her that things were not that terrible. I did not see that the doctor was very much worried.
I´m sure that her pain will not go away from one day to the other. But I feel that she will get over this.

She went to the doctor with a scan, an MRI and an RX. She will have to do another radiography and another scan, but she has to be telling the radiologist where it hurts and where it doesn´t. But the doctor said that most of it was probably neck (cervical bones). So he sent her to another specialist in the same hospital.

@LadyDuck They did. But Claudia was not very bright, as she listened on her husband´s advise. He is a psychiatrist. And when a doctor said it was stress, he immediately started giving her anxiety pills.
This doctor we went to yesterday told her to quit with those pills as they would only hurt her liver. And sent her for another ultrasound, but she told her that she should tell the doctor exactly where the pain was. It is called 'an informed ultrasound'. The doctor is helped by the patient. Besides that he sent her to a backbone specialist to check on her cervical bones.

@marguicha Strange that they did no ultrasound scan, the only sure way to know if it is a bursitis.

It is good that you are by her side. The issue might not be that serious but she seems to be worried because of her pain. You need to support her all the way and try to lift her mood.

@marguicha Yes sometimes we all become too concerned and emotional. Having a family support and especially mom is always good.

It is difficult for most people to understand the extreme pain of someone else. I have had back surgery and shoulder cuff surgery. That´s why I know what it means.

The doctor said he thought I might have bursitis and had me get x-rays. They didn't she anything and so I just won't worry about to until it bothers me worse. I am hoping it will go away on its own but it hasn't and has gotten worse over time. Eventually I will have to go to an orthopedic surgeon but for now I'll pretend it will go away
I hope Claudia gets some better answers at her next appointments.

He asked for more tests and told her to eat less painkillers. And hot water bottles and tempered pool meanwhile.

I saw a medical report on a local new station that states that the mental state of a patient determines if an illness can take you down or just be a challenge in life that you can beat with help from Above.

I think that Claudia needs to lift her spirits. She is depressed which is reasonable due to her shoulder and neck hurting for such a long time.
