It's time to start the countdown to retirement! This list of ten songs that are appropriate for the last day of work, or for contemplating leaving a job, will actually last longer than my remaining work schedule. As usual, there'll be no surprises in some regards, and yet a couple of surprises in other regards. I'll begin with a no-surprise song.
#10: Should I Stay or Should I Go - The Clash
Have you ever had a dilemma on whether or not to change jobs? I have been contemplating leaving this job for about six months. And this classic Clash tune's title is what popped into my mind repeatedly.
It's a valid question, with an accurate assessment of the situation ("If I go there will be trouble, and if I stay it will be double").
I feel for people who are stuck in a job they hate.

Although the song was about a girl (what a surprise) this title fits perfectly into your retirement series. And yes, it sucks working in a job you hate

Most of the songs in this series have titles that fit more than the actual subject matter of the song, as you'll discover.
