So the day is finally here. Tomorrow is the day my foster daughter is getting married. I reached the destination an hour back. Had boarded a train and the journey was smooth with no delay. My sister in law and her children have also come for the function. The groom side really wanted to have more family members. My husband will join for the ceremony tomorrow. So we are here for tomorrow.. Will attend the ceremony and then leave for an early morning train that will take me back to my native. I still have 10 days left for vacation with my family and friends there. The hospitality of groom side is good. They have been courteous and graceful host. They came to receive us on station and then drop us till our hotel rooms. It is a decent hotel. There is a function Hall which is booked for tomorrow. I met my foster daughter and she looked pretty and blushing Now I will take a shower and head to bed. I need it after a long train journey and a good rest is must to look good for tomorrow party. Looking forward to tomorrow. Will keep you updated. Good night

The rituals are going to start in some time. All of us have gathered in a small Hall next to the big one where the ceremony in night will take place.

Raising a daughter and marrying them off could be a painful yet happy occasion for a foster parent in India. May God bless you and your family and the girl.

Thanks for your kind words and wishes. She stayed with the NGO. We just sponsored her and visited her. So it had no such challenge. The NGO raised her well.

How long did it take you to travel by train to the groom's place? In my country, weddings usually take place in the place of the bride, not of the groom.
