Have You Thought about Death?

There are 2 persons who are close to me that died last Saturday and yesterday. The cousin of my father died last Saturday and she was the one who took good care of me and my sis when we were small kids. She was always there for us when we needed her. I still saw her last Christmas. It was a shock for me and to my relatives to have heard her passing away. My high school classmate and friend died yesterday. It was also a shock for me as we thought she was healthy. She even commented to one of our classmates posts on fb that we should enjoy life as we can. Life is too short to be busy without us enjoying our life on earth. She was right. And now she is gone Since then, I keep on thinking of my day when I have to leave this life. I am so sorry. I am emotional at this moment. I will add a photo later when I use my own Ipad. Are you prepared for your death?

I am so sorry for your recent losses. My husband and I had to bury our daughter during her infancy. That was unexpected, and taught us to be prepared financially for such things. Today we are much better suited then we were then. I have pondered the thought of my life if my hubby goes ahead of me, I don't know that I could go on. That scares me.

In my heart I hope we will "go together", I do not know what I could do alone, but I know that my husband would be lost alone.

I have thought about that too and I don´t think I can be alone without him. That would be scary. A scary thought @Juliaacv.

I didn't think a lot about dying until I reached 60. That was a very hard birthday for me. I suddenly realized that I don't have many years left. I finally had to stop thinking and enjoy life.

I have thought a lot about it when there was someone passed away from my circle of friends and relatives. I am glad you have chosen to enjoy life and stopped thinking about the inevitable @simone10. I will try to enjoy life as long as I can. Thanks.

I think about most of the time now, but somehow my crisis of faith some how kept me from doing the good things mostly. Specially I think about from the year I graduated from college.

I would be shocked if I would die within the next few years..but anything could happen I guess. I don't think we are ever truly prepared to die. So sorry for your losses.

I am sorry about their passing. I know we are all going to die. While alive I want to serve Jesus Christ the best way possible.
