A Good Day for Flying Around

Our Orville the osprey has been flying around like crazy after disappearing for over a week. Almost like me!
Today I will disappear for several hours. I’m having a massage at a lovely spa I found, a pedicure, and a powder dip French manicure.
Afterward, I intend to do some retail therapy at a shop I discovered a few months ago. I’m hoping to find more new goodies there and help our economy.
I’ll be flying around between two places, but both of them almost side by side and just a short drive over a bridge. Perhaps I’ll see Orville again today when I return home. Love that bird!

Thanks! Orville builds a nest for life. His mate chose him due to the fact that he had the largest and most beautiful nest of all the other male ospreys. His wife, Mrs. Orville, may be busy with her babies. Orville brings her fish and lets her and the babies eat the meaty parts and he eats what's left. Sometimes I catch him munching on fish on a pier or in a banyon tree or eating little fish at low tide.

Orville seems free as a bird against that blue backdrop. His life is so simple and uncluttered.

It's funny how we get attached to a wild creature. I now have my daughter talking about George, one of my wild turkeys. There are hundreds, but three come up to me now when I'm giving supplements to one of our aging horses. They aren't afraid anymore.

Sounds nice. So what kinds of clothes do you shop for? I want to get a jumper and before where I go they used to have small sizes but since now they brought bigger sizes of jumpers to the store and now I wear smaller sizes so have to wait.

I went alone, since it was only about 5 minutes away. Today, my husband and I are going out for lunch and more shopping about 15 minutes away. I have a gift card to my favorite store that I must use before it expires.

I am glad to know that Orville is back and healthy. I was searching for Bubi yesterday evening. I was checking the garden of my neighbors calling him, when I heard a "meow" behind me and I saw a puzzled look like "What do you want woman?" He was too funny.

It was a wonderful day, and I almost bought the same pair of pants that I had bought before. Good thing the owner of the store remembered I bought them. I wound up gabbing with a neighbor and a friend in the lobby afterwards, so arrived home late, just in time for a FaceTime conversation with our younger son. We cooked dinner, then I collapsed on the couch until bedtime. MyLot was out of the picture, yet again. Somewhat of a repeat today.
