Do you reuse your leftovers?

The waste of food here at home is zero. The leftovers destinations are always for creations of new recipes (especially when creativity is on the rise) or just to be reheated and eaten again. How do you deal with them?

I eat most of my leftovers. And most of the times, they are more yummy than the first dish.

@porwest I have to lie to Anita about the food I serve. She won´t eat any leftover food although she is poor. In my country, poor people eat badly for lack of knowledge. They eat a big barbecue when they are paid and only pasta and bread the rest of the week.

@marguicha I would think if one is poor, they would be wise to make the most of everything they have. Maybe the reason they don't is part of the reason they are poor? One might conjecture that. lol

There are so many foods I can think of that just...marinate. Soups, casseroles, even pizza. It's OFTEN better the second time and very good eats. I've never understood people who won't eat leftovers, and I have met a lot of them.

I seldom have leftovers. When I do we often eat them again the next day.

Leftovers around here are either eaten for lunch or incorporated into an entirely new dish.

I do the same. Sometimes I combine leftovers into a new creation.

This is me to a tee. Nothing goes to waste, and if I get sick of something I had too much of, it becomes something entirely different.

Waste not, want not is what I always say. I use everything. If it does not get eaten up for dinner some of it becomes lunch. If it does not become lunch it becomes a soup or a casserole. I can make anything out of anything and so everything gets used. Everything.

We had leftovers for lunch today! Just reheated - no time to be creative today .
