Did you write the same topic twice?

Last night I was not here at Mylot. I was busy writing for my other writing site. I was motivated to write because I have seen my passive income getting more and more.
I started writing about my mango jam recipe. I was almost finished. I only have to add the photos on my writing. Then I went to my blogspot site and I was shocked to see that I have already written the same recipe. I wrote mango jam last year when I was in the Philippines and I forgot about it. Gladfully, the way I wrote about it and the recipe was diffevent than what I have written last night.
Has it happened to you when writing here at Mylot? Did you write the same topic of discussion? This is the first time that it happened to me. I will be careful next time.
Anyway, happy Sunday to you all. I hope you have a great day.
The photo is my flower in my tropical garden. I forgot the name. I have to check it in my notes. Thanks for reading.

I keep track in my mind what I have written about before.

That is good @JohnRoberts. I think I have to be organized in my mind, too.

@thelme55 I'm glad that it works for you. When I read blogs about blogging they always discourage free platform. Your experience proves them wrong.

After a decade in mylot, I couldn't remember all the topics I have written for discussion. I also do not go back and check my work. So, what happened to you is inevitable for every one of us here. Actually, I see the same topics about coffee, or one's ordinary day, or one's hobby, or vacation, or travelogue written in a slightly different way.
I suppose we are all the same, prone to doing things again and again. But that's all right.

I keep a list of ideas and I then make a note of what I have used... because it would be really easy to do!

That is a good thing to do @Hate2Iron. I always save the articles that I have written online but this time, I have forgotten to check my saved files.

I don't think I have but as long as it isn't identical I think it is perfectly okay. DO you mind if I ask what your other writing site is? I write for Writer Access.

I was glad it was not identical to what I have written the other night. I write on HubPages @BelleStarr. I write there for 8 years already. I have not heard of Writer Access. I will check that out. Thanks for your nice comment. Have a great week.
