I forgot to turn in my time card. And a note on the snow peas at the preschool!

My bone-headed move for yesterday? I worked at the preschool, brought in the hours I worked on a sheet of paper (I copied them from my regular old-school calendar at home) and then proceeded to lose the sheet of paper on which I'd written my hours. So off I go to the preschool with a new sheet of paper. I suppose I could just give them a call, but I want to harvest the snow peas I noticed in the garden yesterday. Leave them on the vine too long and the get fat, gassy, and not as sweet (kind of like me in my old age). Off I go. I'll try to remember to take a picture. I'll use an old snow pea picture here for now.

Thanks. I seem to have a really green thumb when it comes to snow peas.

If you leave them too long, you have to remove the peas inside, you cannot eat the whole thing.

@TheHorse The outside is not more good, but the peas inside are good.

As Chinese philosopher Lin Yutang says, "Savor the little joys." But as my older musician friend also says, "Never fully trust a fart when you're over 65."

I harvested a few and showed them to the kids. I left them in the fridge so the head teacher could do an "activity" around them.

They're snow peas, which prefer the cool and rainy season. Right now, we're planting green beans, corn, and sunflowers.

We seem to mislay paper stuff more often now. And it's great that you're harvesting some snow peas now.

I hope the kids get to munch on them. I left it up to the head teacher.
