Blue The Betta

Good morning! I'm sitting here drinking my coffee and trying to get caught up on notifications. I swear they multiply overnight when I'm not looking. But, that's a good thing.
C came home late last night and was so exhausted. He didn't have a good time at the conference because he wasn't feeling good. All he wanted to do was rest and he didn't get a chance to do that. I wish he would take today off to rest but he won't.
The picture above is from Pixabay but it looks exactly like the Betta I got over the weekend. His name is Blue and he is a very social little fish. He scared me yesterday morning. I was looking for him and finally found him in between the stems of a silk flower I put in there for him. I thought he had gotten caught and had drowned. I kept tapping and tapping on the glass and he finally woke up and swam over to me. He was laying on a leaf sleeping. I had heard that Bettas do that but I had never had one do it before. It was so cute!
I woke up at my usual 1:30am this morning so after typing this I am going to try and lay back down. I am hoping I can get a couple more hours of sleep. I will catch up with everyone later. As usual, have a great day!

@crazyhorseladycx probably. They are beautiful all flared out but not with it. My little fella was in his tank for a day. I brought home 3 small guppies and put them temporarily with the betta. There was one female he didn't like and he started chasing her and flaring. I took all the guppies out, and put them in the big tank. I think if the guppies had been in their first, it might have been ok. But with him in there first, it was his territory and he wanted it all you himself.

Oh that is a very beautiful fish to have in an aquarium.
We also have an aquarium in our old house, long ago. Everytime I arrive home from work, I would simply aze at the fishes, swimming and I will feel so relaxed. Our daughter who was a kid during those times loves staring and feeding the fishes.

I wish C could have taken a day off but he either couldn't or didn't. He did come home feeling better last night. Tired but not hurting and that's good considering we've had rain all night. I couldn't think of another name for the fish, not very original. I have 2 female guppies right now and they are names Lucy and Ethel...lol

I know, I really wish they could find something because he really hasn't been feeling good and I see it everyday. Last night he did come home feeling better just tired. Thanks on the fish. It's hard for me to name animals so his name isn't very original.
