Dying of a broken heart

I am up at 2 am very sick thinking on that. Once long ago I thought that could not be true but now I am thinking it is true,
My demise started right after hubby died. in 2002. to get through it I focused on my job, new house, and my 2 wonderful dogs.
2004 lost my best job I ever had after 8 yrs of taking care of elderly couple .I figured I was fine. Several others wanted my help. Still had my dogs, my home and my health.
2005 got H-Pylori a stomach bacteria that really knocked me down again. Lost my house and moved here with daughter to help get me better. Got a mobile home on my own again after loosing my big dog . Still had my Coco dog.
Being lonely it was a struggle and oldest son talked me into moving back to AZ with him in 2008.
Then 2015 he decided to sell and move to N.Y. with his girl friend that does not want me around. Moved back here to Florida with daughter and brought my Coco while on oxygen 24/7 and walking with a walker.
Lost Coco in 2017 I think. starting to get confused on time at this point.
So literally think I have been dying of a broken heart since hubby passed. Just what being up suffering with breathing and pain issues got me thinking about. So there you have it. What do you think? Can some one die of a broken heart ?
photo of me back in '95 when I married my hubby John. so happy then.

Such a beautiful photo of you
! These difficult times have certainly tested your heart . . . a heart can be broken, but it still keeps a beat . . . there's always a chance to keep going forward. Broken doesn't have to mean the end - it could mean that it's that much stronger and courageous because of all that it's been through.

Wow, that is sad and hard to deal with. Yes I do believe someone could die of a broken heart. It is amazing how life just throws these curve balls. I had a heart attack back in October of 2018. Ever since then I have not been the same. I am also not happy about it. It did interfere with many plans I had. But I have no choice but to deal with what I have. Keep you head up and stay as strong as you can. That is really the best advice I could give anyone.

@bunnybon7 I hope so. But I don't think I will ever be the same as I was. I am just pacing myself these days. They tell me I have less than 20 percent of my heart working. But I have days that I feel great, but my doctor says it is a patient by patient basis with the heart. Look, I will keep going until I stop going.

Fantastic memory you have there dear. So many things have happened the past few years I can barely remember what terrible thing was last or when.
I remember now and still I feel like going over and over why she got those seizures and if the vet just missed something.
thank you

@LadyDuck I am not so sure. he seemed to care more about the money and never really said what it might be. Had her there several times. Just ordered more tests. Like doctors are doing with me right now

Yes some do, some never get over a loss of a loved one. When you have a cycle like that of bad your health may decline as did mine from 2011. My ex let, 2012, the company I worked for closed from there bad has happened once a year.
I try and keep busy and now need to focus on my health.
You have to be brave and everything will fall into place.

you look so beautiful. Yes you have had some hard times, and perhaps may be on to something. But you are still her so there is more work for you to do before you can move on to be with your husband. You have had some hard times and losing our spouse is just one of the hardest things to have to deal with.

@mom210 it kind of depends on if my breathing can handle it. some odors seem to bother my senses and take my breathe too much, not sure why as others can handle some I can't . I might give it a try I guess if it;s to help breathing

Yes, heartaches can cause physical problems. At two in the morning all those thoughts come to the front, but you are always carrying them anyway. Hubs for you. I agree, when lots of sad things happen we begin to lose track of time.

There are some pains that are just too much. I hope that for a moment you can see your glass half filled instead of half empty. I have gone through awful times and the scars are there. But I chose to survive.

thank you sweetheart. glad to see you. Yes doctors don't seem to be like they used to be. Everything needs a specialist. If you ask them to look into any certain part, they refer you to a specialist.
It's like they are not even as helpful as nurses any more and get paid so much more. Maybe I will get lucky and one will stumble on what's wrong.
hugs and loves to you too, hun

I dont know if people can, but i know others believe it.. though usually it happens within a year of the other dying.. so that makes me think no, for you. However, you have had it rough, since he passed. And that stinks.

My pain can not compare to yours. Loosing a child would be the worst. It is a real feat on your part to survive that.
kudos to your strength sweetie
Than k God I haven't went through that yet. I pray I never have to and I pray for you too.

kudos to your strength sweetie
