I just heard ABC is having a special tribute movie/show of All in the family series soon with Woody Harrelson playing Archie Bunker .
My son texted me about it earlier. Had you heard ? Did you like this show/series?
Some may be too young to remember it but it was pretty funny. Maybe a new generation will appreciate it as much. I think you younger folks here might like it too. I would recommend checking it out. here's the info I found about it.

I think so. he is an excellent actor and seems to make any character work.

forces you huh? I guess it's going to be a special on ABC a local channel most places in USA. Probably can see it if you have an aentena even. or a Roku and down load ABC. It used to be a family safe series, hoping this special will be the same G rated

Mixed feelings here. I loved All in the Family. It is the perfect parody of American life at the time. Each character was an amazing caricature of their role. It flies in the face of the current "Political Correctness" where everyone has to be so offended about everything. Can they do it today without some group whining? Or will they give in to PC and make it either so watered down they might as well not bother, or worse, just a petty social commentary worshiping sacred cows while trashing America.
I know I was hesitant to watch the One Day at a Time remake, but then I hated the fact they cancelled it.
It could go either way, so let's hope they stay true to the classic and really do a great job!

actually I remember Archie learning lessons on not to be that man he wanted to be. which is what made it funny.
I still think there was more behind the Roseanne cancellation then was ever said. I miss it still.

I know !! love Woody too. I think that man can play any part with excellence. Jamie fox and Wanda Sykes are going to be Jeffersons . another couple actors I love. I really wish the link had worked.

@bunnybon7 Woody is great! He is good at acting like those rebellious, brutally honest types - so this will be a cool role for him . . . can't wait to see that! And oh my gosh - the Jeffersons - Jamie and Wonda are hilarious and I just gotta see how they team up.

I just hope I can see it on one of my stations when it comes out as I don't have cable, just internet and have to watch most things when the regular station feels like letting it go on streaming.

Loved the original series but Archie (Carol O'Connor) cannot be replaced in my opinion. As much as I enjoy Woody Harrelson's work in TV and Movies that is a hard act to follow.
