Laundry and Hair

Finally, after three months, I will sit in the beautician's chair today. My hair is a mess I can no longer control. However, I will tell you there will be a new style which I will unveil to all of you as soon as my friend takes my picture. I need it for the back cover of my book. It's also laundry day, so I will be leaving soon for my son's. I only need to eat first and leave. What are your plans for today? I will have the next writing tips when I get home. I also need to work on Guns of War this afternoon. Thanks for reading.

I have already been to the Imaging Center for an upper abdomen scan. The rest of my day is whatever I want it to be. I think I will write some, read some, work on the puzzle a little, maybe do a little cross stitch, and of course I will be here on myLot off and on.

I need a new me. Have an appointment for next Thursday to get a cut and color done. Not sure how short I will my hair cut, but definitely it will have some style. Sick of the length of it now.

Oh we're all waiting to see your new look! I haven't been to a hairdresser for more than 20 years. I have long hair so I just trim the ends now and then. I'm always shocked at how expensive hairdressers are!

Yes, they are expensive, but since this is my only luxury, and I refuse to look a mess as I can't do my own hair, I accept the expense.

I'm glad you can finally go get your hair done. Wish it's only been three months since I last went, but going on 1-2 years I think. Hoping to make it there before July. My only plans for today was getting maintenance here to get my moms smoke alarm to shut up, the guy showed up and put a new one up and it still chirped a few times.. but not in awhile so hopefully it's done now.

@just4him its been really annoying, as my brothers went off last week, then my moms, then mine, then my moms again. all batteries have been switched to new, and yet hers was still doing it. hopefully its not going to anymore now.. especially cause i'm about ready to break it I bet it does! cant wait to see.

It sounds like a wonderful thing to do. I haven't had a bath in years and remember how relaxing they were. I can't take them now. I wouldn't be able to get up out of it without a lot of difficulty.
