I swear every time we turn around there is another health alert of some kind. A new deadly Super Bug called Candida auris was recently discovered in Japan in 2019. This bug is resistant to most anti-fungal meds used to treat Candida or general fungal infections. 613 cases have already been confirmed in the US and it is highly contagious.

Leprosy has returned due to immigrants. Seriously. Learned that at the National Hanson's Disease Museum in Louisiana.

With all the flights that arrive from all of the world, I'm surprised that there isn't a lot more diseases!

But if we close our borders then all the politically correct folks will get their britches in a bunch.

Maybe if that 'bunch' all come down with some of these diseases, they'll shut their mouth @rebelann .

I doubt it @nanette64 they'd rather dupe Americans into funding cures for the diseases instead

Too late, we import food from all the countries around the world, this is how diseases spread.

Me too @CarolDM . Why is it that major disasters have to take place before those in power pay attention.

I’m not sure if this one is from another country, but closing the borders wouldn’t be a bad idea. Until America gets its own problems under control.

@nanette64 Unless they need asylum because they can prove they are in severe danger, time to close things down.

I'm not sure @dya80dya . Maybe it's to start control of the over-population of this planet. It's bad enough that man is destroying the plants, animals, trees, oceans to keep building and expanding cities.
