No Water - Again!

I got woken up around 8am today with my mom telling me we had no water again. She claims they didn’t put a notice on our mailbox until this morning, but I actually think they just put it there later yesterday. She usually doesn’t leave the house after 3pm. It sucks since we didn’t have time to get water to refill the toilet. I also had planned on taking a shower this morning. So I’m a bit gross with messy hair. I threw a hat on and clean clothes at least to go meet my case manager.

That is a bummer, maybe go get a 5 gallon water jug at least you would have something then. They are pretty cheap at like walmart.

If we get the notice the day before, we fill the tub up in the morning so we have water. We always have bottled water around, thankfully.

Geez that is so annoying. I remember my mom going bonkers when we got a notice the water was going to be shut off. She ended up getting two 5 gallon buckets of water and in the end they never ended up shutting off the water to work on anything haha

Yesterday we filled the tub with water before it was shut off - couldn’t do that today since we hadn’t seen the notice. Thankfully it was turned back on around 3pm.

@mrki444 We were warned back in March about the work happening and that there would be water shut off days. I think we missed the notice last night because it was put on the mailbox in the evening.

They are at least doing a good job of working fast. It was supposed to be off for 10 hours and each time it’s been back on in 6.

Sounds like they are making heavy work of it. I'd have thought that since it was such short notice they could have put a water bowser. We had a pipe burst not from from here and that is what our company did.
