So remember folks, do NOT let your friends and family inside your house!!!!

My dad told me something my Aunty said to him yesterday. If you've been keeping up with my posts, you will know that I love my Aunty very much but she is in my bad books at the moment due to her unkind remarks about my life. I've also mentioned her "Christianity" to which I don't take seriously. If she is happy with what she follows, fine but it's hard to take her seriously when she doesn't even take it seriously. So yesterday she said to my dad ( and keep in mind my dad is not religious and she knows this ) "I have to tell you something. When the world goes into darkness, do not let anyone inside your house even if it's your friends and family. Warn everyone you know." My dad asked her if this was something to do with the apocalypse to which she said that it was. And also added that that day is coming soon. This day has been coming since way before I was bloody born by the way. And of course way before anyone who is reading this was born! I did a Google search and found this "Just as God punished the Egyptians with plagues including the "three days of darkness", the theory states that Satan will chastise the world with darkness at the end of time. The earth will be enveloped by darkness lasting three days and three nights, the only light source that can be seen being blessed candles." I only looked into this briefly as honestly, I couldn't be bothered today with all this. Head is too full but anyway, does anyone else know anything about this? I admit that the world is getting crazier and the Earth itself seems to be crumbling. But no one knows the date of our death or the Earth's death. And no one knows how it will happen. It's only one theory after another. I don't understand why my Aunty is saying to not let anyone in. My guess is she probably thinks demons will be knocking on the door. I'm not even being sarcastic. Look, as I always say, follow what you want to follow and be happy. But people like her, with unkind remarks, forcing religion and fear mongering behaviour is why others don't want part in it. My Aunty ( with all due respect ) is a sheeple. She's the type of person to fall for stupid TV commercials, believe what she reads in magazines, believes what she reads from unreliable sites online and yes, she believes everything she hears and reads in regards to religion instead of doing her own research. That behaviour scares me. With anyone. With how we just follow because we are told to. There are many things we should do when told to but there is also SO MUCH that we shouldn't do just because we feel like we have no other option. Maybe my Aunty's theory is right BUT no one should be walking around acting like it's a fact. It's a theory. My Aunty has told me over 10 different stories to how the world will end so see what I mean? She hears / reads something, tells people and then it changes. Contradicts herself all the time meanwhile saying "We don't know what will happen." So then why bother throwing gory and unsettling "news" to people who just may fall for it? I kindly ask you Aunty, to shut up.

Well, let's skip religion and look the reality of what we know in our days, the earth will be destroyed by the sun when this one will explode. No days of darkness, nothing like this, a big ball of fire.

@LadyDuck That's one of the things I believe is more likely to happen. I take the more science approach when it comes to the end of the world.

@VivaLaDani13 This is the only thing that we know for sure it's going to happen.

@Mulidi That's all anyone can do but I would recommend living in fear for it to come especially if the end of the world isn't going to happen in your life time.

@Mulidi I do agree with you but only somewhat. Because, not seeing anything with our eyes, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Like air, we don't see it but it's very really. Or stars, we don't always see them ( daylight, cloudy sky ) but they are still there. I hope vampires aren't real lol but many people do live the life of one. There are people out there who do drink their own blood and blood from others. But I totally understand what you're saying. Just not everything we don't see, isn't not real.

I had a little giggle moment . . . when all is dark and she is standing outside your door knocking to let her inside . . . and you have to tell her remember what she said . Maybe this all has to be with "control" . . . she can't do it on her own, but she uses religion as a scare tactic to try to control others. I don't understand people like that . . . but then again they won't even bother to understand me . . . so I guess it's all mutual . Sorry you are having to deal with her.

@VivaLaDani13 It's one thing to hear what you have to go through and laugh about it - but I'm sure it's a whole 'nother thing to have to live it - and to actually deal with her . Your aunt is probably very insecure - and this is a way for her to be the know-it-all .

@much2say lol I'm glad you had a giggle. I switch between laughing and shaking my head when I hear these sorts of stories. Funny enough, that is exactly what I said to my dad lol that we won't let her in when she is at our door step since those were her instructions. I'm not sure what her game is. I know that she does love to be the one to know everything or at least think she knows everything for her then to tell others what she knows.

@much2say It does get tough for sure hearing the things she can say. Sometimes it's very frustrating. I have wondered if insecurity was a reason for all of this. Or maybe because she had to take on the mother role when she was younger but wasn't taken seriously so that has now turned her into a know-it-all "you must listen to me now" kinda thing. Or maybe that mother role got to her head that she thinks she now knows everything.

It is not for us to know. God knows and that's all that matters. The way she acts, she better be careful and not answer her four either.

@VivaLaDani13 I do believe in God and you are right, the final decision is up to him.

@simone10 Exactly. Not that I completely believe in God but I'm pretty sure it's only him who knows what will happen and who goes where when we die. Not up to us to pretend we know what will happen.

@LowRiderX I think about it sometimes but never to the point where I get scared as no one knows how this world will become to be. But honestly, something that does really scare me are governments. They have a lot of control of our lives.

We cannot tell when the "end of the world" comes. Or the second coming of Jesus Christ. Or the judgment day. We cannot tell. No one can't.

@aninditasen Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me! I don't really have much to say about it because technically, none of us know anything about when or if the world was to end nor how it was to end. No one knows really.

I think your aunt is in a kind of delirium. Maybe she think of your family's well being but her approach is not right.

@Sojourn I agree she does care about us and wants her all safe but you're exactly right that her approach is not right at all.
