The food we are eating is changing.

Today I soaked some dry beans and had a delicious bean dish with pork skin. I added hot smoked ground red pepper. I was thinking about what to eat for dinner, and I really want nothing but a cup of coffee in a couple of hours. This is the food we eat when the weather gets cold. I would not think about cooking this in summer. Do you cook different in winter?

Yes, the choices are aplenty in winter here and some meals are different too.

Yes, I cook different in winter, but as the Spring is so cold this year I am still cooking stews and soups for the evening.

Yes, and I'm in the process of switching to summer foods. It's still cool here, though, so I made some lentil stew the other day and am still eating on it.

Yes I do. It is spring here and getting very warm. I eat light meals. In the winter, it is more like soups and heavy food.
