End of the Day

In the pool at five a.m. Nap at nine a.m. Notifications finished by one something. Finished the Scarlett mini-series on Tubi. Very good. Worked on Guns of War three p.m. Made great headway with the story. I'm still looking for a way for the good guys to win, and I'm almost there. A couple more chapters and this book will be finished. 
Designated Survivor with my friend down the hall 5:30 pm. Back here for the third round of notifications, and then to bed to start this all over tomorrow.
I think it was a good day. The nap did wonders for my back and knees, though my knees are still not happy knees. My back is. I'll be in the pool again tomorrow.
We have more rain coming tomorrow, more than we got today which was .11 inch. From what I'm seeing on the forecast, I think our hopes of kissing the flood watch goodbye are non-existent. It's going to be a heavy rain forecast for the weekend.
It looks like round three will need to wait until tomorrow. I exercised everything today, including my brain. I gave it a great workout and I'm happy with the results. Now to finish Guns of War in the next few days. I'm expecting Thread of Evidence back any day now, so having that one finished before it comes back will be a feather in my bonnet, so to speak.

Valerie sounds like you did a lot of things today, and also accomplished all of them. I think when you go to the pool you seem happier! It isn't like you don't seem happy, but I sense more happiness than usual! My day was slow, nothing special.

I probably am happier. I know I've had a good workout, seen friends and had a good start to my day. When I can't go to the pool, I know I'm not as happy for all those same reasons, not getting the workout and seeing my friends. I know today, I feel the added benefit that all the workout this week has helped my knees and my back. I know when I don't go to the pool and I sleep in, I feel like I'm not getting as much done as I normally do either. So, yes, it does have its pros and cons.

@jvicentevalera Thank you. I don't go to the pool on weekends but look forward to Monday. Saturday is my only day for sleeping in and I don't mind it on Saturday. My body needs a break from all the exercise too. It also feels good to sleep in once a week.
However, today I am troubled. I read an article last night before going to bed about the collapse of your economy and how hard it is for you and your country. I am fearful for you and hope you are doing all right. I know I wondered why I hadn't seen you for many days, now I know why. You didn't have the Internet access you need because the power is hard to come by. Know I am praying for you and your country.

@just4him I am so happy that you see the results of working out and having an active routine. While I was reading your answer I even sensed a nice energy, as if it was another Valerie the one who wrote it. Thumbs up to your lessons by the pool, keep doing it please!

I had a great day had an article excepted by a client and got great feedback from her, picked up Jack at school and took him out for ice cream, yes it was a good day.

You had a very busy day. We have been getting rain all week. I had hoped to do some work outside but, I cannot because it's so damp. I stayed inside and spent most of my day, cleaning the house.

I just had a few things on my schedule and did that. It was also a beautiful sunny day and so I walked for over an hour in the sunshine. I saw some dandelions in the park and had to eat a few. I enjoy eating the flowers. It feels like I'm eating some sunshine.

@1hopefulman That it will. The dandelions are late this year. They're usually flourishing at the beginning of the month. I'm just starting to see them.

Yesterday I finished reading Dolores Claiborne. I did an article on Textbroker, but the computer was acting slow though. I also watched the movie Dolores Claiborne. I also watched a show I taped on Wednesday. Today I'm going listen to Harry Potter and watch a episode of The Story of God.

@Courtlynn I just love it when the weatherman is right about what to expect. He could have been wrong this time. Oh well. I got my garbage out during the dry time today. It's raining again.
