When I was confined last February, I was advised to have an oxygen tank in the house before they could sent me home. I kind of feel worried because that means I need to rely on that. The whole month that I was confined I was in oxygen because of my Hemoglobin level is in danger. Doctors kept telling me I should be in oxygen. Now, at the moment I’m on it. I feel shortness of breathing maybe because of low Hemoglobin plus liquids in my body. Tomorrow which is Monday, I will have my blood transfusion again. Do you happen to know the disadvantage and advantage of having an oxygen at home?

If they said you need one - have one!!!!!! You just need to be careful about open flames around it.

@tech40 If I will consume it in a day, it will only last for 6 to 8 hours, depending on the pressure.

I do not have a problem currently with breathing, so no. But I hope you are able to get your situation worked out. Not being able to breathe sucks.

I think there is no disadvantage but only advantage of you not running to go to hospital when you need to. I hope you will be okay soon.

Exactly! Before I use to go to the ER if I have issues with breathing.

I do not see disadvantages, if you need oxygen you must keep the tank near you.

My brother in law has oxygen at home. I know you must treat it gently but he hasn't had any trouble with it.

I haven't had the need to use it. I hope that you can finally bounce back so you don't need that anymore!
