We are out of a few essentials. I guess we could have gone yesterday, but we did not. I am completely out of milk, almost out of butter and eggs.
The sun is shining, but it is cool. I am wearing a long sleeve top and long pants.
Trying to help hubby gain weight I have been making him a chocolate milk with protein powder at bed time, so I have to have that at least.
We will not be gone long. Hopefully we will get back before it rains again.
I see clouds coming down from the north.

Feed him starchy foods like potatoes too for weight gain if he can have them. It is starting to get cloudy here now.

He loves potatoes, but not rice, pasta or corn. He is needing to move around and grow back some muscles.

@wolfgirl569 Yes, potato soup, baked potato, hash browns, etc. Hubby is too content to just sit and read, especially with the bad weather. On the nice days I can get him to do stuff outside. I think the fresh air and sunshine are a help to him. I do not want to own animals, but if we did it might get him out more.

The day I posted this was the last nice day we will have for a while. I should have stayed home and worked in the yard. I do not know when it will be dry again or the sun will shine.

The rain did not start until the evening. We are in a rain system that will likely go on all week and until the weekend. I am listening to see if they cancel school because the rural roads are closed.

Yes, the protein shakes do help with weight gain, I give them to Tony to maintain his. I also use dairy to keep him fatter.
I too and out of onions and potatoes, well just vegetables. I am going to Aldi, I hope.

We went to Aldi. Eggs 59 a dozen, milk 219. Butter was higher than Wal Mart at 2.88, but overall everything is so much lower.
