A lucky dog in Nevers, France

We’ve been without internet for some days but are now in a hotel in Paris. Four of us fly out in the morning.
While in Nevers in France, we visited the markets and I spotted this dog which was sitting in a child’s carrier behind a bicycle. I hope he was well enough to spend some time walking rather than being confined to a carrier.
I bought a couple of books at the markets and one of our group purchased a small, old, wooden crucifix. By the time we left the markets it was around lunch-time so we picked up four pork pies and some artisan-made bread to take back to the boat.
Tomorrow we’ll be met in Dublin, Ireland, by our son and the next part of our holiday will begin.

that pup sure looks's though most content. i'm certain they let 't out where they can to run 'round. the pup here's gotta go e'erywhere i go 're she gets purty anxious. i'm ferbidden to leave 'er here with the hubs fer any 'mount 'f time, lol.
so glad yer trip's been such'n interestin' one 'n the weathers behaved (i presume?). delighted yer gonna be'n ireland to spend that time with yer son.

Judy, are you seriously in Paris right now? I've been in Paris for the past four days, I just flew home last night (Sunday, 4 PM Paris time). I really, really wish I would have known you were there at the same time I was, we could have finally met up in person!

@JudyEv There was a small window of overlap that could have made it possible, but like you said it would have been very tough. But it really would have been worth it just to meet you in person!

@moffittjc I'm sorry I didn't follow up on it but I wasn't sure of our time-line at the time. Others were doing the organising and I was just going along for the ride. Such a shame. :(

That dog looks adorable. I hope he is enjoying being carried around in a carrier and not allowed to walk. I am glad that you got the Internet and we are happy to get an update from you. Enjoy your journey
