Wow what a difference color on the walls makes.
My son and daughter in law painted my daughters bedroom and bathroom and did a fabulous job. Until today all the walls in the house have been an off white/cream color.
Now my daughters bedroom is a beautiful dusty purple and her bathroom is nice bright yellow (but not school bus or taxi yellow).
I didn't realize that the color would make the room pop so much.
My son offered to come back and paint my bedroom and my master bathroom is I want. Now he's gotten me thinking and I'm probably going to take him up on his offer.
What color would I choose? Decisions, decisions, decisions

I"m leaning toward either something in the green family or blue family. Since it's hard for me to pick a color I probably should stick with a neutral beige

@Marilynda1225 Something soothing and restful, my favorite colour that we ever had in a bedroom was a warm soft yellow/gold colour. Its hard to describe, but if you can imagine the colour of a sunset, but toned down. And during the cold winter months that colour was warm and welcoming.
Oh, you're going to have so much fun now looking at colours.

You make a good point so I'll have to think really hard about the color I pick.

Two colors that make for a soothing bedroom are light blue or mint green. My bedroom back in Latvia was mint green and it always had a nice aura to it.

I do like mint green and if I every paint my bedroom I will probably do a sage green or something in the green family.

@Marilynda1225 I wish so, but only the walls are in violet color, but I do not have furniture, just an old bed.

That sounds nice. I wish I could get some color in here..but since I plan to put my house on the market within the next year..it is probably not the time. White walls it is!

Yes if you're going to sell then it's best not to put color on the walls, Maybe you can get those colors in your next place

Each room in our house is a different color. I prefer that.

Well, whats your favorite color. Cause a shade or two of that would be my choice. Or a shade if that and a shade of my second favorite, if they go together nicely.
Our walls cant be painted.
