I just joined MyLot a few minutes ago and I'd like to introduce myself. I am Bill McAlpine, a hairy highlander originally from the middle of nowhere in the Scottish Highlands but now living in the big bothy known as Edinburgh. I intend to introduce you to all that is wonderful about Scotland - its food, its culture, its entertainment, its landscape, its outdoor activities and its people starting with the photograph I have included here - it's probably the most photographed mountain in Scotland and it stands at the eastern entrance to Glencoe!

@ScotMac Yes, Malta is a beautiful place too, we have lots of historic places and lots of beaches
