Was not a fan of my burger deluxe at our new diner

Hubby came home from work last night and we had to drop off stuff at my parents' house and help out a little. After we left their house it was after 10 pm. We were very hungry and because there was nothing to eat at home we decided to grab a bite somewhere. I had a craving for a burger so decided to try a new diner that recently opened close to our house. We got two different burger deluxe dishes. Burger deluxe is basically a burger with a side of fries and pickle and slaw on the side. I got regular fries but he upgraded to curly fries with cheddar cheese. They brought our food without a very long wait but they forgot to bring the pickle and slaw. It was only after we started eating that I realized that, so we had to tell the waitress and wait for her to bring it over before continuing to eat our food. I was not a fan of the food. Even though what I ordered was edible, the fries were bland and so was the beef patty. And the slaw wasn't something to rave about either. Hubby wasn't a fan of the food as well. For drinks, I ordered cranberry juice without ice. It wasn't the best tasting cranberry juice I ever had but it wasn't bad either and I enjoyed it. It wasn't a large glass though, even though the receipt showed that it was a large one. Hubby wanted to get beer but the selection was limited. He didn't want to pay almost $7 for a bottle of beer he didn't like, so got water instead. If I am ever craving for a burger again I will not be going to this diner. I don't even know if I wanna go back there for anything else, but who knows?
