June 2nd was Cancer Survivor Day! Wishing a happy day to all it applies to. I know it's belated, however I feel (like with birthdays) it should be celebrated all month long! My prayer is for a cure for all types of cancer and I proudly have the lavender colored ribbon pin which symbolizes awareness for all types of cancer. The survivors and warriors have my support and positive thoughts. Photo found online scoopnest

That's a great day to celebrate, for sure! If I prayed I would for that too.....so instead I send best wishes that they do find a cure for all types!

@MommyOfEli2013 I think so - I know there are differing schools of thought on that, but I think..... can't hurt :-)

@FayeHazel I thought they were a good thing too, just didn't know if they worked for everything!

It’s our top charity. We’ve lost many from that awful killer.

We have seen so many lose the battle to this horrible disease. Like you, I feel it should be celebrated all month long. Those who have struggled with this demon are warriors. I know a beautiful mother/grandmother/servant of God who is now going through her second battle. I am praying for her and her family. She is a survivor.

Cancer is not only survived and battled by the patient but by his loved ones too. So prayers for them too who stand as a pillar of support for their loved ones.

Such a horrible and scary disease. Those who are survivors are truly blessed and I'm sure extremely grateful.
