Hey everyone, I thought I'd share a "photograph of the day" post before I head back home.
This photo was taken over a year ago.....when Eli was really into rock hunting. We found this "smile" rock at the park. We also found a few other rocks with words.
What do you think of the photo? How about the idea of rock painting/hunting?

Thank you :) And that's awesome that you did that! Seems like the rock painting thing has kind of slowed down here too.

@MommyOfEli2013 You're welcome! It'd be cool to find one for sure. I hope you and your little guy find more soon. Have you thought of painting and hiding any yourself? I would like to, when I get the money to spare for enough supplies for all of us. They have kits at Five Below, but a $5 kit probably won't cut it for us.

@MommyOfEli2013 Aw, I bet he loved the Minon rock! Do you keep them when you find them? I hope others have founded, and loved, your rocks. Yep, but I don't know how many rocks come in a kit, I'll have to check it out. I hope you guys have fun hiding them again! :)

Aahh .. was that a rock? At first glance, I thought it was a slogan on his t-shirt. :-) It looks cool... and I like both the smiles ;-)

What a sweet photo, of Eli! And he's so happy, finding this painted rock:) I've never been into painting rocks, but it sure sounds like a lot of fun!

Thank you, he does have a great smile :) And he loves painting and finding rocks! I wasn't into it until we found his first rock....but it's been fun!

@MommyOfEli2013 While it is not something I personally engage in, I do see why some people do, and I also think that the uniqueness of each rock is what is part of the appeal.

@porwest That's how I thought before we started to do the whole rock painting thing! It's nice that those who don't engage in it, can still appreciate it.
