Dang, bein in the desert has it's drawbacks. While so many people talk about getting rain I simply wait for the next rain drop. The other day we got a 2 minute rain fall but I could count up to 6 between drops. At least it was a wee bit wet,

yup, she don't look 'mpressed. i feel fer ya, though that'd purty much be the norm'n yer neck'f the woods, no? not to brag, but 'nother inch here yesterday eve. thankfully none to day 's a lil dryin' out 'tis'n order.

Nah, an inch only makes the turf muddy and slippery but if it all falls fast and furious it could create some puddles @crazyhorseladycx

Hot deserts aren't for just anyone, I've lived here for 59 yrs so I'm used to it. I'm not a cold person
Thank you, the vet said she looks a lot like a Canaan but the Humane Society that I adopted her from said her mom was a German Shepherd and her dad was a husky, what do they know really, right?

Our area had rain and storms yesterday. It kind of breezed by us with just a few drops. Lots of winds through and several areas had power outages and trees uprooted.

Ally looks like she has given up on the rain. We are having rainy days now but the weather is so warm I think I am going to go walking in the rain tomorrow.

You misunderstood what I was trying to convey, I love when it rains but sometimes when we get rain it is so slow coming down that I can count how long it takes for the next raindrop to fall. I like it better when the rain is steady and really gets the ground wet.
